Here’s what to expect during bad weather:

β€’ πŸš’ Response times may be longer due to unsafe road conditions
β€’ πŸš‘ Emergency vehicles may drive slower to avoid accidents
β€’ ❄️ Crews may need additional equipment or manpower
β€’ πŸš“ Some roads may be impassable, requiring alternate routes
β€’ πŸ§‘β€πŸš’ Responders are operating in hazardous conditions while working to get to you safely

⚠️ Slower does not mean less urgent β€” it means safer for everyone involved.

πŸ‘‰ You can help by:
β€’ Staying off roads unless necessary
β€’ Giving emergency vehicles plenty of space
β€’ Clearing driveways and making sure house numbers are visible
β€’ Calling 911 only for true emergencies

πŸ”₯ Warming Station Available πŸ”₯
During severe cold weather or in the event of a power outage, the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company will be open as a warming station for anyone in need.
πŸ“ The warming station will be located in the EMS building.

Our volunteers and EMS personnel leave their homes and families in the worst conditions to help our community. A little patience and understanding go a long way β€” and help ensure everyone makes it home safely.

Stay weather-aware, stay prepared, and as always β€” stay safe, Fulton County πŸ’™
