💧STAY HYDRATED💧

*Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty.
*Avoid excessive alcohol, caffeine, and sugary drinks, which can contribute to dehydration.

❄️ STAY COOL ❄️

*Spend time in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible.
*Take cool showers or baths.
*Use fans to circulate air, but remember that fans alone may not prevent heat-related illness during extreme heat.

👕 DRESS FOR THE WEATHER👗

*Wear lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-colored clothing.
*Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses when outdoors.
*Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to protect your skin.

🏠 KEEP YOUR HOME COOL❄️

*Close blinds and curtains during the hottest part of the day.
*Use fans early in the day and air conditioning if available.
*Avoid using ovens or other heat-producing appliances during peak heat.

⏰ PLAN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WISELY⏰

*Limit strenuous activities between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
*Take frequent breaks in the shade or indoors.
*NEVER leave children, older adults, or pets in a parked vehicle—even for a minute.

👥 CHECK ON OTHERS🫂

*Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone without air conditioning.
*Make sure pets have plenty of fresh water and shade.
