Engine 56 responded to 8526 Little Cove Rd, Franklin County, Warren Township for an outside investigation of smoke. E56 arrived finding a small area of smoke along the ridge. With assistance from landowners, 56 personnel made access finding a tree that had been struck by lightning actively burning. DCNR units were notified along with MMPW Chief 9 who was enroute with Brush 9. Engine 56 cleared, turning the scene over to Chief 9.
