β’ π Response times may be longer due to unsafe road conditions β’ π Emergency vehicles may drive slower to avoid accidents β’ βοΈ Crews may need additional equipment or manpower β’ π Some roads may be impassable, requiring alternate routes β’ π§βπ Responders are operating in hazardous conditions while working to get to you safely
β οΈ Slower does not mean less urgent β it means safer for everyone involved.
π You can help by: β’ Staying off roads unless necessary β’ Giving emergency vehicles plenty of space β’ Clearing driveways and making sure house numbers are visible β’ Calling 911 only for true emergencies
π₯ Warming Station Available π₯ During severe cold weather or in the event of a power outage, the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company will be open as a warming station for anyone in need. π The warming station will be located in the EMS building.
Our volunteers and EMS personnel leave their homes and families in the worst conditions to help our community. A little patience and understanding go a long way β and help ensure everyone makes it home safely.
